What is assimilation?
· The process of when a culture of a minority group has completely adapted another cultures’ way of life and their previous culture disappears.
Assimilation can occur mostly by individual want, caused by change in lifestyle. However, generally in the past, assimilation was done by force. In communist countries, the government set regulations on the beliefs and action that you can and cannot practice. The people under the government were obliged to follow these rules. Futuristic time will only tell if these forgotten cultures will ever come back into the next generations.

Assimilation
Assimilation is the process where people are forced to abandon their group, and join another. It can be done with any part of culture, from religion, to language, and even to points of view. When assimilation occurs, it destroys the cultural diversity, and creates a uniformity.
