Globalization is the reference to increasing global integration, connectivity and interdependence in many different aspects of geography. It unites the global community. The dictionary defines globalization as "the process by which the experience of everyday life is becoming standardized around the world." Globalization has been driven forward by the significant increase in technological advancements since the great depression and the second world war. Now with items such as computers, cell phones, handhelds, and other objects that link us to the rest of the world. Globalization involves the movement of ideas from every part of the world to other parts, and is increasingly becoming a more important part of our culture.

This cartoon depicts how globalization is affecting everyone. Many products sold in the United States are made in other third world countries. This process is known as outsourcing. The U.S. is doing so much of this that the citizens of the US are thinking that they have outsourced their president's job as well. This cartoon also shows how the US is greatly dependant on other countries for the production of their goods.
